Twang Kicks Off August With A Party! July 6, 2008

Twang was where the party was last Saturday night! Hundreds enjoyed another great time! August represents the time of year when we tweak things at Twang in preparation of the new season (which starts mid September). We are tweaking the sound in the back room and preparing to resurface the dance floor as well. But don’t fret, we’ll keep rockin’ every Saturday night until the new season…and when the new season DOES come, expect BIG THINGS.

Our schedule over the summer is pretty simple….Twangs every Saturday night. We hope to see you as much as possible all summer long!! So, come as often as you can!

This Saturday night, it’s a Twang/Pull combo with the Ag Expo outside as we party inside!!

Special Events Remain Through August…Major Upgrades Come Fall July 4, 2008

Although we’ve had our share of “special” Twangs so far this summer (Fountain Fest, Summerfaire, Newville Fair), we are not done yet!! In early August, we’ve got the Ag Expo (outside Twang), plus the Shippensburg Corn Festival at the end of the month. Something new this year, though, is a trip to the Franklin County Fair on Friday, August 22nd. We have been everywhere over the years, but NEVER there….so come join us!!

Also, although it seems far away now, you will want to mark September 20th down on your calender. That will be our official kick-off to season #15 at Twang. Although we will keep holding Twangs until then, that night always signifies the new season. And, as usual, we are topping ourselves again. Although the plan is still in the works, we expect to give away more prizes and merchandise than IN THE HISTORY OF TWANG. Soooo, mark this date down, and don’t miss it. We expect lots of new things by the new season, including a completely resurfaced (and repainted) dance floor, new photos all thru Twang, and some other extras. So, be there!!

Best Of Scott TV (’07-’08 season)

Although Twang is year-round, Scott-TV is only 9 months (September to May), much like the school year. Soooo, we always put together a “best of” video montage that takes you through 9 months pretty quickly (under 11 minutes!). So, sit back, and enjoy some lightning quick interviews, some video footage from various nights, and an overall recap of Scott-TV this season!….and again, don’t forget Twang continues all summer EVERY Saturday night!!
