Although it’s rare when we have an actual Twang on Easter, we did so this past Sunday and it was a big success! Some Twangers prefer Sunday because it’s a bit slower and easier to move around. With so many schools off on Monday, we threw in an extra one Sunday, and a couple hundred showed up and truly had a blast!!
Thanks again for your continued support! it doesn’t seem to matter when Twang is, you show!!
One month down and 11 to go! Thanks for all the support kicking off yet another year at Twang. From our Saturdays and Sundays to our “on the road” events, we’ve managed to stay on top of everything….and that’s thanks to you!!
February will bring many other special events, including a Valentine’s Party, AND involvement with something that we’ve never done before…so hang in there as 2008 really gets reved up! Thanks again!!
As Expected, the Christmas Party was a huge success at Twang last Saturday night. A flat-out huge crowd hung with Santa, danced to the best country and Christmas music around, AND walked away with over 100 prizes. Thanks for another amazing Christmas Party!

Our annual Christmas Party is slated for tonight! Complete with over 100 prizes, the party is ALWAYS one of the best nights of the year. Soooo, make sure you’re there!
It’s so cool to see Twang decked out with all the Holiday trimmings. Plus, ANYONE can get a picture with Santa Claus!! Yes, the big fella will make a special trip out to Twang. So, whether you’re young or old, you can sit on Santa’s lap and pose for a picture!!
In addition, we always toss in some of the best Christmas songs of all time! You simply cannot miss this night. So, we plan on seeing YOU on tonight!
Lesson 7:15, Dance 8pm!
Twang has been to all sorts of colleges across central PA and beyond, but never to PSU Mont Alto. But, that changed last Tuesday night (Nov. 6th), as we took our on show on the road for a workshop/dance on the campus.
The dance was a huge success, as current Twangers helped some potential new Twangers learn their dance steps. Thanks to all who helped make the event a success!!

Twang visited Messiah College Friday night (October 26th) to spread the word of line and couple dancing. As usual, it turned into a blast. We have truly enjoyed our relationship with Messiah over the years, and thank all those who came out to learn from our Twang “All-Stars!”
It’s one event that we always hate that it has to end. Last Saturday night’s Halloween Party was another amazing time! Many of you dressed up and won in an assortment of categories, and dozens of you won just for showing up! Kendra Baker correctly identified the weight of the pumpkin (70 pounds), and Sam Buca and Zach Travis had fun with the simplest of accessories. Overall, it was a great time! Thanks for everything!
