Yet another great Twang last Saturday night as hundreds danced the night away. The cooler temperatures kept more people on the dance floor all night long!

Twang returns this Saturday night with more fun!! After our first official night of the season, we continue handing out prizes from week to week. So, you know you’ll be able to win every week from here on out!
Also, remember, if you are a VIPer, you always have a better chance to win! We signed up dozens of new VIPers on Saturday night, so we look forward to sharing the wealth!

Yet another opener has come and gone with great results as usual! Hundreds packed into Twang last Saturday night to kick off another season. 300 people walked away with some kind of prize, ranging from a shirt to free pass to cd or DVD. One person walked away with an Ipod and another walked away with our grand prize, a $600 HD-TV!
Thanks for all the support! We are excited about one heck of a 2007-08 season!!

It’s finally here….After weeks (and for some of you, months) of waiting, our opener has arrived. We appreciate all the support we received over the summer and also in the last few weeks, also known as the “Tweener” time. (The time between the end of summer and the “start” of the season). So, it all comes down to tonight!! Read below for all the fun we have planned!!
Prizes, Prizes, and more prizes is the name of the game at tonight’s opener. THAT, along with an amazing night of hit country music and dancing. Get a load of this stuff…
The First 100 PEOPLE get a new Great Country 107.7 shirt. These are different from the ones we handed out before, so be there at 6:15 (when doors open) to grab yours! Then, take our Twang Quiz for your chance to win our grand prize, a $600 Flat Screen HD-TV. Other prizes include an Ipod, Cd and DVD packs, passes, and more!! Everyone has a chance to win, even if you are brand new to Twang. Still, become a VIPer (if you aren’t already) to increase your chances!!
All in all, tonight will be one HUGE night. The only great thing about summer being gone is that Twang kicks things back into high gear. Plus, we’ll extend the night til midnight! So, be there tonight!
We want to congratulate one of our own on her Marriage last Saturday night! Leah Mills, one of our dance instructors married Daniel Redcay. Leah has been an instructor for us since April, 2006, and she was a regular Twanger long before that. In fact, Leah and Daniel actually MET at the Twang a few years ago and fell in love soon after. They join the long list of people who met at Twang, then later married. Have fun on your honeymoon guys!!
A whole bunch of new Twang shirts came in just a few weeks ago and are aready selling like crazy! Check out all the new designs this Saturday at Twang! In addition to the new styles, we re-ordered a bunch of the existing styles that have gotten low in specific sizes. Grab your shirt today!!
For the second year in a row, our Twang marathon back on June 2nd was simply one big 12 hour party! It started out with a few dozen people at noon and seemed to grow every few minutes over the first few hours. When it was all said and done, hundreds of you came out to support the Carla Witter memorial fund. We were so happy to be able to present a large check to Paula and Nancy (Carla’s daughters) at the end of the night. The entire Witter family wanted let you know how appreciative they are.
We do several benefits a year, but this one is always special due to its length. By midnight, every seemed ready to get some much needed sleep after a night filled with Sleazy Slides and Canadian stomps!
This year, we’re donating the money we make from our marathon to the Carla Witter memorial fund. Carla was one of the driving forces behind the early years of Twang. She singlehandedly introduced hundreds of people to Twang over the years, including her children, who still remain Twang mainstays. She lost her battle with cancer last fall and this will help with many remaining bills. The event is running as we speak til midnight!
The $10 price is four dollars more than usual, but for a benefit of this kind, we were pretty sure you’d understand. We also figured that for 12 hours, $10 is actually a pretty good price! Although Carla is now gone, she will always be a huge part of Twang’s history. We truly couldn’t have done so many things without her. As she looks down on us during this event, we are quite sure she’ll be dancing right along.
You DO NOT have to be there the whole 12 hours. Come ANYTIME during the marathon, pay, get your hand stamped, leave, come back, whatever! We will give out three free passes to anyone who stays the entire time, but again, that’s up to you! We will also hand out 200 PRIZES thru the day. We’ll hand them out at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10pm. Anyone can win, but you must be present at those times to win!

Yet another great Twangin’ weekend. Great nights both Saturday and Sunday! There are fewer Sunday dances in summer, but we like to throw in a few, so watch out for them!
