New Floor Smash Hit As Twang Posts Huge Weekend
With a near record breaking crowd last Saturday and the biggest Sunday we’ve ever had, Twang is off and running in 2007. To check out video footage from last Saturday, click on “Scott-TV” two stories down. The most important part of the weekend was the new dance floor. It was a huge hit and gave everyone the extra room they needed. Now that the floor has been danced on for a weekend, we will make the necessary adjustments while treating it this week.
All in all, you couldn’t ask for a better weekend. I do want to thank our “king of sound” Sam Buca for wiring up not only sound for our back room, but video as well. Although our flat screens have been showing a lot of football lately, from time to time you will watch live video of room 1 from room 2!! We thank Sam for that, Leah Mills for helping us stain the floor, and of course, Tom & Darren for building the floor itself. All did an amazing job!!
Most importantly, we thank YOU for your support. Twang’s growth over the last few years has been fast and furious. But, the growth in the last four months or so has been unprecedented. As we get larger, we will always adjust to suit your needs. Thanks again!!!

Second Dance Floor Huge Success January 8, 2007
With as hard as the Twang staff worked this week to get the new dance floor completed, we would have taken any kind of night last night. Building, painting, sealing, etc., was in hyper mode all week long. And, when you have a night like last night, it all makes it worthwhile. Over the 13 years of Twang, we’ve done a whole lot of things, but the move to put a dance floor in the back room had to be a near perfect success. With a near record crowd once again, it was simply heaven seeing both dance floors filled up during the real popular dances, and lots of space during the other ones. It simply couldn’t have gone better.
Part of the process with a new dance floor is “breaking it in.” Once this weekend is done, we will treat it a few more times to get it exactly the way we want it. But, we thank you once again for supporting us. You asked for another floor and we were happy to give it to you! Thanks again!

Second Dance Floor To Open Tonight!
In a shocking turn of events, our brand new dance floor in the back will be ready to go tonight!! Although we had the best team available building the floor, it still looked more like January 20th would be the magic day. But, things moved so quickly earlier this week, that everything started to move up. By the time Tuesday was through, it truly appeared we could have everything done by this weekend!! Even WE are amazed. Soooo, get ready to dance on that brand new floor tonight.
In addition to building and preparing the dance floor, we had to do some other things to that back room as well. We had to wire sound into it and alter some other things. So, I want to thank the Twang staff for spending extra time there this week getting things prepared for Saturday.
We had originally planned to hand out all our prizes related to the expansion on the 20th, and we will STILL do that then (mainly our shirts). This way, you’ll just get a double whammy of prizes. Some this coming weekend, and a whole bunch more next weekend.
As I have always said, for 13 years Twang has adjusted and changed with the times. This is just another example of how much we value your support. It appears 2007 will be our best year ever! Just a few hours til dance floor #2!!

More Records Fall As Twang Kicks Off ‘07 January 2, 2007
All we can say is WOW!! 2007 got off to an amazing start at Twang last night. For the third time in two months (and second time in two weeks), we broke our attendance record! Thanks so much for the support! Sam Buca sat in for Scott and lit the place up with his “King Of Sound” isms and so much more!
