Record Breaking Twang Weekend!
After coming close in previous weeks, we broke yet another attendance record Saturday night at Twang. We can’t thank you enough for your continued support! Many of you newcomers took our advice and grabbed an instructional DVD last weekend. Both dance floors are now filled from start to finish each week, and it seems like our regulars now have their spots on each floor!
On Sunday, weather once again played havoc with our Sunday party. Although the actual “storm” turned out to be a flop, the forcasters scared everyone enough to keep some people away from Twang. But, the party went on anyway! We return this Saturday & Sunday with more Twangin’ fun!

Want A Private Lesson For Your Group Before Twang?…. February 20, 2007
Although we’ve done private “pre-Twang” lessons for years, we seem to be doing them a lot more often now, and many people aren’t even aware we offer such a thing. Most people know we have “Twang-Themed” birthday parties on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at Twang. But, if you want to have your group come to Twang on an actual dance night, and get a private lesson in the process, that’s another option you have.
We’ve done almost a dozen since the season opener, and it’s pretty simple. We’ll teach your group or organization some of the basic dances for one hour (6-7pm). Since our regular lesson starts at 7:15, you would learn some of the basics for an hour, take a short breather, then learn with the rest of the Twang crowd! Also, since so so many people simply celebrate their birthday AT a regular Twang, you could incorporate it into a birthday party. It wouldn’t be a private birthday party like our afternoon events, but it would be a much cheaper alternative, while still enjoying the Twang experience!

Twang Weekend Another One To Remember February 19, 2007
After three Twang dances in three days, it’s safe to say, we brought down the house this past weekend. We started off with Friday, which we almost didn’t have. We hated that the V-Day dance had to be canceled, and since it would be tough to duplicate any other day, we almost just put a fork in it. But, after some thinking, I figured we’d give it a shot on Friday and hope that at least some of you got the message. We ended up with double what we thought we’d get!! On Saturday, we had our usual wall-to-wall packed house (see Scott-TV below). Then, on Sunday, even though many schools now HAD to go on Monday, we doubled our normal Sunday crowd. Thanks for another Twang weekend for the ages!
We’re back to a normal weekend this coming weekend, as we go back to just Saturday & Sunday. You HAVE to join us Saturday though, because we’ll hand out 100 cd’s. That’s right 100 cd’s to VIPers. Soooo, you won’t want to miss the chance to win!

Once again, we can’t thank you enough for your continued support. Our VIP list continues to grow by almost 10-15 a week, and our myspace requests number near 50 a week now. For 13 years, we’ve been central PA’s #1 country dance club, and even though we continue to grow at an alarming rate, we will never forget WHY we are #1. YOU!!
