After a great kickoff at Ice-Fest on Friday, Twang kicked it into high gear on Saturday with a near record crowd (missed it by 9 people!). We handed out dozens of cd’s and DVD’s as usual, and danced well past 11pm (which is becoming very common). We thank you so much for your continued support on Saturday. The crowds continue to grow, and our second dance floor is now becoming a favorite of many dancers!
Of all the things we’ve done at Twang over the years, it’s hard to believe we never had a Super Bowl party. But, we did this year, and it’s safe to say we’re having one every year from here on out! With Sam Buca wiring things up in both the main room and back room, Twang had two parties going simultaneously without ONE problem! In addition, we had three of our smaller monitors showing the game in our main room so you could keep up to date at all times. Simply put, if you wanted to watch the game with complete audio, room 2 was for you, and if you wanted to dance, room 1 was the place! It is even hard for me to believe it all worked as well as it did. But, it did!! We handed out $600 in NFL/college merchandise as well. Plus, although it was a school night, our crowd was much larger than normal. It simply could not have gone better. I want to thank our “king of sound” Sam Buca, the Shugharts in the kitchen for pulling double duty, and the entire staff for their hard work. PLUS, we want to thank YOU for all your support. Thanks so much for an awesome weekend!
