Twang Heads to CV May 25th!!

Come join us on Friday, May 25th for an awesome combo event which will feature a Twang Street Dance from 7-10pm! In an effort to raise awareness of agriculture’s impact and the importance of locally grown food in Cumberland County, the Cumberland Valley FFA is hosting its First Annual “A-Day” for Agriculture Awareness Food on Friday, May 25, at the Cumberland Valley High School Campus on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg. It’s no secret that agricultural families have supported Twang since our start in the mid 1990′s, and we’re thrilled to be able to be a part of this event.

One highlight of this day will be the ground breaking of a 4-Acre Community Hunger Garden and Agricultural Learning Center on the campus of the Cumberland Valley Educational Park. The vast portion of foods grown will be donated directly to charities like Project SHARE and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. To celebrate the day, there will be plenty of activities, ranging from Pony Rides to Hayrides and lots of music, AND, of course US! The event kicks off at 5:30, with the dancing portion from 7-10pm.

If you’d need to GPS the address, the school is located at 6746 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA. Come showcase your dancing skills for all to see in the open air May 25th!
